LIVING WORD:
Believers, all you who believe in Christ as Savior and acknowledge Him as God’s Son, you are not in spiritual darkness nor held by its power. You are children of the light.

We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

So then let us not sleep in spiritual indifference as the rest of the world does, but let us keep wide awake, alert, and cautious and let us be self-controlled, calm, and wise. For the night is nearly over; the day has drawn near.

Let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Be clearheaded, alert and self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate of protection, and wearing as a helmet the hope and confident assurance of our salvation.

·       Rejoice always!
·       Pray continually.
·       Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
·       Do not quench the Spirit.
·       Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all.
·       Hold on to what is good,
·       Reject every kind of evil.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Word In Motion:
When circumstances overwhelm and discourage us, we can tend to forget who our God is. We place those circumstances that hinder us, worry us and cause fear in a position of more authority than God has in our lives. We forget who is in the boat of life with us.

We need to remember, reflect and believe daily on who our God is so that when the storms come, we know who holds us in His hands, who help us navigate the storms and who has the power to calm the storms.

It’s not about what we face, it is about who we follow. God says in his word that He will never leave you nor forsake you, He will go before you, beside you and behind you.

He will get up! Peace, be still!
